OUR STORY.

Willow + West is a full service interior design firm focusong on both small and large scale renovations, new builds, furnishings and styling projects. Our firm manages ever detail of the design and build process by bringing in and managing a team of trusted contractors and subcontractors. We offer a commitment to transparency, dedication to both professionalism and clear communication and our attentiveness to maintaining budgets and schedules which translate to a seamless, unmatched design experience.

Working with the authenticity of who our client's are is crucial to creating design concepts that feed thee soul, inspire and ultimately feel like home - no matter what the setting is. Our mission is to create timeless beauty reflected from our clients personality and daily lives through thoughtful and sophisticated curation. We strive to utilize calm and bold color palettes, unique accents, classic pieces and luxurious finished to achieve the space and reflect our clients and their story.

The Discovery

The first step includes a discovery to get to know you, your aesthetic, functional requirements

and project scope

The Concept

We prepare the initial floor plan documentation and selections for your review and gather your feedback.

Final Design

Using your feedback, the final design gets created down to the last detail including lighting plus, millwork elevations, furnishings, decor and more

Design Binder

We gather quotes from our trusted partners, prepare documentation and spreadsheets for a smooth transition and installation of your project.

Procurement

We work behind the scenes with our manufacturers and suppliers to ensure your materials and furnishings arrive safely and on-time with status updates throughout.

Project Management

We conduct site visits and problem solve with trades to ensure the final results withhold the Willow + West quality standard.

Styling Plan

We schedule our final meeting to go through your style preferences and prepare a personalized plan for your upcoming install.

Final Install + Reveal

Using our trades and our team, we ensure all furnishings and decor are installed on the last day to give you your big reveal! The space will be camera ready for its glam shots!

KIERSTEN CABOT

Owner, Principal Designer

Kiersten explored her passion for interior design at a very young age. With her interest areas lying in art related industries she has always possessed the need to create.

Born and raised in Newfoundland, Kiersten headed for the mainland to complete her education in interior design. In 2017 she graduated from St. Clair College with an advanced diploma and went on to further her education obtaining a bachelors degree in 2019 from Yorkville University.

For the last four years Kiersten has worked in the construction industry with experience desining for restaurants, seniors living, new home construction, small commercial projects and home remodels. Through her work experience, she has held many roles through have held many roles through interior design, project management, project coordination, sales, cost estimation, warehouse management and marketing.

Collaboration is essential to Kiersten. Getting to know her clients on a personal level is paramount to providing them the space of their dreams. The partnerships she has created and the collaboration from those translate to a seamless experience.

When Kiersten isn’t working, she is spending time with her husband Brandon and two dogs - Daisy and Lily. She can often be found connecting with friends, hosting book club, running her non-profit organization, DIY tasks in her house or enjoying the outdoors.
